Soo How Much Do I Charge???

I was just asked to baby sit for my neighbor. she has 2 kids.. an 11 year old girl, and a 8 year old boy. i will be babysitting Tuesday-Thursday everyday after school. How much an hour should i charge??? Please Help! Thank You!!!

You should check with your friends who are babysitting and find out what they charge for two kids.  You should try to be comparable so the mother doesn't decide to "price shop" for the lowest rate.  Also, you should have agreed on a rate before you accepted, otherwise she may be thinking she can pay you $1 an hour per child when the going rate is $2 or $2.50 an hour per child.  I do not know what the going rate is now because it's been over twenty years since I needed a babysitter for my kids.

Just a suggestion, if you haven't taken the Red Cross Babysitting Class, I suggest you try to get in it.  Very informative, and when you've got some experience as well as RC training you can charge more.
