Question

So my friends convinced me to get my hair cut in layers again...but I have really bad luck with getting my hair cut. It turns out really gross most of the time, so this time I want to be really sure...

you need your hair layered, and you dont tell your stylist a number of layers, its either a lot or a little, you need a lot, but dont get side bangs lik that its too much, get gentle side bangs like this

Shorter layers in the back getting longer near the front.  Side bangs look awesome on everyone, I was terrified to get mine but I&#039;ve had bangs for two or three years now and don&#039;t ever want to give them up!

yeah I think you should get side bangs that would look cute about the layers i rlly dont know because yo already have short hair but yeah its up to you it would look allright i guess.

I would find pictures of what you like, print them out, and take them with you to the salon.  I did this recently, and ended up with a great haircut!  Even if they are all different - these bangs, those highlights, this length. If you get a good stylist, they can put it all together.

Okay three tips for you (I am NOT trying to be mean I am being honest)

-Stop moving your face to the side, you look retarded, just because all your friends does it doesn&#039;t mean it&#039;s cute or that you have to. You look WAY cuter in the second picture.

-Let your hair grow! Grow it out to about two inches past your shoulders then get a small trim and layers and side bangs but not the ones in the picture which bring me to my third tip.

-Scene hair looks really stupid on people that DON&#039;T have a scene style. TRUST ME. You should get side bangs more like this:
