Since It's sending giving you popups it's there for spyware because it trying to make you buy software that will give you more virus's. When those popups come up DO NOT ACCEPT THEM.

    go to this site

hit the download button in the middle. it will take a while to get everything on you computer. set it up. open the application and click on check for problems and it will scan your computer and quarentine them (keep the virus's in a safe and you can still use the program) you may have to do it more than once but the problems should be fixed

  3. i recommend you to download  Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and do a full scan. it's free

I consider myself a pretty good spyware removal expert, but I ALMOST was stumped the other day when a customer's computer was infected with these strange "Powered by Zedo" ad popups. They would popup in the middle of the screen without warning usually when I was trying to search Google or another search engine. Then they would take my search term and put it in the popup ad showing Ebay or a few other sites.

The javascript that was producing the popups had several ad networks that it was using including

  6. *First Solution*

    1. Back up your files and do a System Restore:

    1. First, remember to backup only your important files, if you start backing up everything, infected files may transfer. However this might not be needed, unless you have really important files.

    2. To do a system restore go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

    3. Hit "Next"

    4. Choose a date when you were not infected with the virus.

    5. Hit "Next"

    6. Read the on screen message and make sure you understand what you are doing, then hit "Next"

    --------------------------------------...

    2. If the System Restore doesn't work or is infected in some way, disable system restore. Most viruses go into system restore and to get them out it has to be disabled.

    Windows XP:

Steps to turn off System Restore

    1. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.

    2. In the System Properties dialog box, click the System Restore tab.

    3. Click to select the Turn off System Restore check box. Or, click to select the Turn off System Restore on all drives check box.

    4. Click OK.

    5. When you receive the following message, click Yes to confirm that you want to turn off System Restore:

You have chosen to turn off System Restore. If you continue, all existing restore points will be deleted, and you will not be able to track or undo changes to your computer.

Steps to turn on System Restore

    1. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.

    2. In the System Properties dialog box, click the System Restore tab.

    3. Click to clear the Turn off System Restore check box. Or, click the Turn off System Restore on all drives check box.

    4. Click OK.

    Windows Vista:

    1) Type system into the start menu search box, and pick the 4th item down, just labeled "System". (You could also right-click the computer icon and choose properties)

2)Now click the System protection link

3)Once you uncheck the drive, click the "Turn System Restore Off" button

4)To enable repeat the steps and then check the drive box that you had unchecked before.

    4. If you want some softwares that are totally free and very effective, download these:

    ----------

    AVG Anti-Virus: http://free.avg.com/

    Spyware

    -------

    Spoybot Search & Destroy: http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-De...

    Log removal

    -----------

    HiJackThis: Hijackthis.de

That is all you need for full protection. Make sure you run one at a time so you don't slow down your computer. Read the next steph on how to use HiJackThis.

NOTICE: These programs do not run on RAM, you will have to start up Windows and install these programs.

    --------------------------------------...

    5. Start Windows in safemode and install Hijackthis, save the log and then go to Hijackthis.de and then paste you're entire log into the log box.

That site will tell you what to delete using Hijackthis. When you're going to delete something that gets picked up as nasty or virus, make sure you go into google and look up the file name and make sure it is not an important file, it could be a graphics driver or printer driver. Be sure you know what your deleting cause Hijackthis deletes them and it won't bring them back if you make errors. If you're unsure about you're log save it and go to the Helpdesk section on the forums and post it.

    --------------------------------------...
