The number one at Juve has gone on to remark on their defeat against Inter Milan and commented that it was just a matter of time before they lost in the Serie A.
The former goalkeeper at Parma was reflecting on the “what ifs” of their match against the Nerazzurri outfit, and even though he found a lot of places where his outfit would have been able to capitalise and penetrate against their opposition; he remarked
that it was only a matter of time before they gave away their unbeaten run. An unbeaten run of 49 matches has seen the Turin outfit land themselves into the record books of the Serie A as the only side to have reached that milestone.

The team had done exceedingly well in their 49 match unbeaten run; however, Antonio Conte’s men had been starting to show signs of weaknesses in the matches leading to the Derby d’Italia, and were extremely lucky on occasions. At times there were refereeing
decisions that had fortunately gone their way as well.
There were suggestions that players might be losing their confidence and others might be tired from the long season they have had; included the 2011-12 season, the European Championships and the current season. While talking to La Stampa, the seasoned professional
has gone on to remark on the levels of confidence within the team, while also reflecting on their unbeaten run, and further commented:
“I do not think losing means we will have lost our confidence. We have been growing as a team for over a year, and sooner or later the run had to come to an end. The Bianconeri skipper remarked that he never liked losing, but told his team not to make any such errors in the remainder of the season.
