Sooo, whos gonna win it? Federer v. Nadal?

So, its the third straight year that these two have met in the final of Monte Carlo. Is the third time the charm? Will Federer beat Nadal? If he does, it will certainly be a very VERY good sign for him at Roland Garros. Bouncing back from his first match nightmare (two points from defeat...twice!), he has defeated Monfils (eh..), Nalbandian (who had only let Robredo win one game the day before), and Djokovic (world number 3). If he beats Nadal, Federers confidence should be excellent for the next few tourneys.

Personally, I think if Federer can get the opening set, he has a great chance. If he loses it, it'll be tough, but Federer did beat Nadal last year in Hamburg after losing the first set 6-2, winning the next two sets 2 and 0. Nadal has looked very tough, but the thing Federer has going for him is that Nadal has had a cakewalk, while Federer is match tough. Maybe it'll overwhelm Nadal, maybe it won't, idk. Nadals still the man to beat, so hopefully it'll be a good one =)

Rafa will win.  I hope he humiliates Federer, who is only in the final because Nole had to reitre, just like how he was basically handed the title in Estoril with Davydenko's retirement.

Nadal. Federer beat Nadal on clay last year  but that was because Nadal has been tired. Nadal won the previous tournaments on clay (tournaments with an "S") while Federer lost in the 2nd round the previous tournament giving him plenty of time to rest. As, for the French Open last year, Federer almost beat Nadal. The keyword is almost. Besides, Nadal has his own record. 54 Consecutive Wins on Clay and Most Consecutive French Open Titles. Plus, the title "King on Clay" says everything.

Fedex has been tested enough, so he should be good to go. It should be an interesting game no matter who wins. The odds are in favor of Rafa, but Roger will definitely put some sort of a fight as we have seen lately. Roger is the only one who can trouble Rafa on clay, so it should be a good game overall. Rafa hopefully. People say that Federer defeated Rafa at Hamburg and that he can defeat him again, however the clay out there is different from that used at Roland Garros and Monte Carlo also probably. The Roland Garros one is more conducive to Rafa's style of play. The Hamburg one makes the ball bounce lesser.
