  1. Great choice!

Never EVER been excited about a VP choice until now.

Obama talks about Change, and McCain delivers Change.

  2. Excellent choice!!

Gov. Sarah Palin has more experience than Obama has and Obama 'thinks' he is presidential material, newsflash, Obama is not

  3. Well, if Obama didn't pick Hilary... he intends to pick a woman to help his party more. Purely strategy... no intellectual content.

  4. Awesome.

It's funny to see Democrat MEN now bringing back the tired old "gravitas" word.  If anyone had "gravitas" it was Hillary Clinton, and they had absolutely no problem with Obama not even vetting her for consideration.  They come off sounding like masogynistic creeps.

And experience?  Okay, so President McCain with loads of experience teams up with a VP with less experience but already a good track record; versus President Obama with minimal experience (and absolutely none as executive officer) and a VP that has as much experience as McCain... do Democrats REALLY want to go there?

Integrity?  How many corrupt Democrats has Obama personally fought and taken down?  She went up against good old boys, Republicans, and helped take them down!  That's gravitas.  That's integrity ahead of party politics.

    What did Barack do?

He snubbed Hillary, wouldn't even CONSIDER her.

And to SHUT HER UP and BUY her "unity", he cut a back-room deal with her.  EXACTLY THE TYPICAL, TIRED POLITICS OF THE PAST that he claimed to be a voice of change against.

And then he picks BIDEN!!!  BIDEN???  What the f**k?

Having two mavericks with PROVEN records of change is going to go a lot further than a bunch of slogans with business as usual politics.

    Even their slogans are old.

    "GRAVITAS???"  Wasn't that from 2000?

  5. She is a great choice.  She is the only one of the four on the two tickets that has actually run a government.  She is smart, conservative, and has a history of cleaning up the government on many levels.  She is the only Washington outsider of the four.  Smart move.

CHERRY:  She is part of the FBI investigation.  She is not being investigated but is the one that is getting rid of the corrupt politicians even if they are Republicans.

PANK:  LMAO - She has more experience than Obama and is more ready to lead the country from day 1.

  6. Great choice that will win the Election!

  7. Great choice.  Obama REALLY screwed himself by dissing Clinton.

  8. great choice for the biker beauty contest judges and late night comics, bad choice for cindy and the country.

  9. The first time that I can remember in history that a women has been chosen for Vice President and all they can talk about is experience.

So what she was mayor of a town of 8000, is that a crime?

Is it a crime to be governor of Alaska?

Is it a crime to necessarily be a woman.

In 1 move McCain just put more change in his campaign then Obama has done throughout his whole campaign.

  10. Bad choice. McCain is the biggest hyprocrite I've ever came across.

  11. Its Bad Its Terrible another Right Wing Conservative Pro-Life, Pro Guns, Pro-God, Besides she represents Alaska as Governor someone that rather Drill for Oil in her Backyard then Project Preserve the Land, This is   another Example That McCain Doesn't Get It, because He don't have a Chance Most American Don't share her Point of view They share the same Life Experiences of Obama and Biden.

    OBAMA BIDEN 08.

  12. Good choice because she is s**y as h**l!

  13. he only picked her because he was desperate he wanted to try to get some clinton voters

    bad choice

  14. Great choice! She's smart, experienced, a good mom AND good-looking. Do women get any better than that?

  15. He only  picked her because she is a woman and he wants all of the angry hillary supporters votes. she is younger than Obama and was only mayor of a small town for two years. She has only a bachelor of science degree in communications-journalism from the University of Idaho in 1987.McCain had a problem with Obama's age and experience and yet he chooses someone who is younger and has way less experience. Whether it be a woman or a man he is supposed to choose who is best for the country so that in a horrible event that they would have to become president they can handle the job. if she were a man do you think he would have picked her for the job?.I don't  think so.hahahahahaha . I think that he is counting on woman to like her only based on her gender....not this woman.I have no problem with it being a woman at all.A woman can do anything a man can do but is she right for the job? McCain is no spring chicken you know. We could be stuck with a soccer mom with a bachelor degree as our president of the great U.S.A.

(Palin admits she doesn't even know what a VP does. SEE/HEAR HER IN HER OWN WORDS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pak-rH0dC...

-her V.P. comments are toward the end of the video-

...and she's being investigated for corruption.)

  16. Wait until after the Republican convention.  Everyone is just jumping to conclusions without any facts.

  17. Oh the democrats will tear them up big time. Hmm..lets compare Biden with Palin.....Ohh..sorry..i cant! The word " sucks" comes to mind.

    See you at the debates!!!

  18. It was an excellent choice......for the Democrats.

I'll bet Obama and Biden have already popped open a bottle of Cristal on the campaign bus.

  19. i don´t know, but i´m sure that obama is hitting his head against a wall knowing that he has to deal with anotehr woman.... I don´t know why he hates women that much..... maybe because his granny

  20. I do think that his vp pick open some eyes but not in a good way. I'm a young woman and dont think, that just because you put a woman on the ticket that will buy my vote. I think republicans are trying to save face and are forced to like her but because thats there party choice its just like if my brother bring home a girl that my family doesn't approve of, we support him even if we think he can do better. The big problem is that now republicans can no longer use inexperience for obama. I feel that republicans are trying to say she has more experience thats hard to believe when obama was the first african american to head the harvard law review. It's like comparing apples to oranges. People stick to the facts you say obama has no experience with foreign policy do really believe that foreign leaders will take her seriously, they are watching and god forbid anything was to happen to mccain in office this is the woman who will lead are nation she is no hillary! I'm a hillary supporter and very upset with the republicans tactics to try to win our votes. The 08 election has come down to do anything to win instead of fight for what you beleve. American politics are forever disgraced. I fully support Obama

  21. Good choice. She has more experience than Obama.

  22. It's a confusing choice, and they want people confused, so for them it was a good choice.

  23. Terrible.

i was considering McCain, but he's so old, and with this retarded VP, there's too much of a risk that she'll be the Pres.  She is NOT ready to be pres. McCain just did you-know-what to himself in the you-know what.  Unbelievable

  24. I think she's an excellent choice. And just like Hillary's entranced followers, I firmly believe you are sexist trash if you say anything bad about her. What goes around comes around.

    McCain in '08!

  25. Fantastic!  In the 2 minutes I heard of her acceptance speech, she mentioned all that has bothered me: ethics, (she got elected mayor of her town because she was against 'the good ole boy system and against corruption in the big oil business), oil independence (she has 16 billion dollars and is building a huge natural gas pipeline, and she wants to utilize Alaska's huge oil reserves), and loving the USA.  She sounds wonderful.  McCain and advisors were so so so so smart to choose her.

  26. I'll be fascinated to see if McCain can come up with any basis for his campaign now that he can no longer use his favorite negative tactic.  "Obama is inexperienced" won't fly any more when he has a running mate who's less experienced.

  27. LOVE IT!

    Excellent choice.

People that say otherwise are CLUELESS.

  28. You did see this coming- it was just wrapped in different paper.  You were expecting a conservative man who was in the back pocket of big oil.  But you did not expect this in a female wrapping.  Ms. Palin is all of this.  OH- that oil independence she was lying about?  Yes, LYING about.  Alaska has sour oil, which is SOLD INTERNATIONALLY, mostly to Asia.  WE IN THE US USE THE SWEET OIL FROM THE MIDDLE EAST- OUR REFINERIES ARE MADE FOR IT, NOT THE SOUR TYPE.  She is lying to all of you who do not know this.

Be aware, America.  Your gas and oil bills will increase and there will be no reforms in health care, social security, education and other important issues.

Same Sh#t different day for the Republicans.

    They lost my vote.

  29. Excellent choice.  She enables women to move forward and get ready for Woman president in 2012 without having to tolerate the Clinton mob.  McCain will not serve 8 years and she will be all set to take over when he leaves office.  I would not be surprised if He resigned from office about a year from elections in 2012 to give her time to demonstrate how great a president she will be.

  30. As a black conservative. I Think excellent choice. Guess mccain aint stupid like everyone thinks.

  31. she is corrupt

abusing her office to settle family quarrels

    'Troopergate' inquiry lurks
