Sophmore year of highschool vs freshman year?

I'm gonna be a sophomore..tomorrow! What'd you find different from grade 10 and grade 9?

Sophomore year is soo much better. You don't have random upper classmen staring at you because they all think you're confused and "so little". On my first day of sophomore year I remember walking in and seeing the freshman and just being like "Woah I wonder if I looked all scared like that." It's like 10th grade is so much better because you know the school and you are used to it. Everyone is familiar and you even make way more friends. Overall it's nothing to be worried about. You know the school, (unless you transferred) the teachers are farmiliar, classes are better, (a lot more homework imo though) but it's not at all overwhelming like it was freshman year. Good luck! I started school two weeks ago!

The teachers dive straight into things more than they did in your freshman year.  The freshman year was about easing you into the new school with the new schedule.  Sophomore year sort of starts with a bang.

But in general, you feel more confident.  You feel like you belong in the school.
