I'm not looking for the answer, I just want someone who can explain how to solve these problems. We are studying angles.

Find the value of x

m<AOC = 7x - 2 , m<DOC = 2x + 8, m<EOD = 27

I'm really confused, so if anyone could explain how to do these problems, you'd be my saviour (or my teacher, better yet. She doesn't teach us f***ing c**p)

By the way, these "<" are angle signs, hehe.

  1. 7x-2=180

    2x+8=180

  2. You need a picture of the angles' relationship to each other to solve this problem. Sorry I can't help. Try looking online.

  3. 2x+6+7x-2= 180 solve for x

    my bad

  4. first you have to see which angles are congruent to each other. if <AOC is congruent (equal to) m<DOC, then you have to set 7x-2 equal to 2x+8 and then solve for 'x'. if m<EOD is congruent to m<DOC then u have to set 27 equal to 2x+8 and solve for 'x'. so on and so forth. im going to assume this is probably a square with a line going diagonally. telling the shape might be helpful to. =] good luck
