Sore Arm and pulptations?

Im a healthy 16 year old and figure skater, for the past 2 weeks i have skates alot more then usuall and haven't ate as much. I have started eating more now (Purley beacuse my mom went shopping, we didn;t have much in before) For the past copule of days i have had pulptations and an achy arm, not painfull in anyway. ( I did have a few falls skating) Also i was very tired after skating for a long period of time and iam not used to it. Any idead why i got pulptations and an achy arm?

  1. Talk to a sports trainer, there may be something you could do to help your situation, so you will be ready for the Vancouver Olympics in 2 years.

The most common cause of palpitations is when your heart is in a rhythm called ventricular tachycardia.  This can be caused by excessive use of caffine and/or amphetamines.  Are you drinking lots of sodas or caffinated drinks?  Start drinking more water, and make an appointment with your doc just to make sure nothing serious is wrong!  In the meantime, if you get light-headed with this, or pass out, GET TO THE ER! Call an ambulance, as they can perform the necessary actions immediately, if this is in fact what is wrong!

  3. You need to go the doctor to have your blood pressure checked and a general check up.
