  1. Lose weight

  2. Definitely see a chiropractor. I strained my back when I was about 16 while diving, and by the age of 20 had back pain. Went the medical route, had 2 myelograms (injections of dye into the spine) even though I was known to be allergic to the dye. Now 58, I've got chronic severe pain, and the only thing which really makes a difference is seeing a chiropractor. After several years of treatment, I have now reached the stage where I only have to go occasionally. Chiropractic is brilliant.

  3. I was hospitalized for heart, liver & kidney failure, was in a wheelchair & was confined to a bed in a nursing home for 3 months. I have had neck & back problems ever since. I take a lot of medications already, so I try to avoid taking pain killers if I can help it. Have you tried reflexology or acupressure?

Here is a site I go to that helps me find pressure points, it has helped me:

  5. heat pad ibuprofen

  6. u should c a physio

  7. Ouch. You need to soak in an epsom salt bath. If you do not have any you can get it at Wal-mart. Put about 1 cup into your bath and soak for about 15 minutes. This should help with the soreness and tension. If after the bath you are still in a lot of pain get a heating pad and put it on the troubled area for 15 min. on and then off for 15 min. Continue until you start getting some relief. Have you ever considered getting a Massage or going to a Chiropractor? You may want to look into doing that. I have been a Massage Therapist for 5 years. Massage sure helps with back pain.

  8. Ice it and drink lots of water.

  9. just try to keep moving--don't lay down (it may be worse in the long run).

take ibuprofen, unless you are going to drink a lot tonight.

  10. Do some yoga moves like Child's pose to stretch it gently.

  11. For something quick use a heat pad and stretch after about a half hour after you put it on. Try to pop it by twisting. For something long term go see a chiropractor. It could be that you have degenerative disc disease. I have the same problem. Another thing you can do is take 2 or 3 extar strength tylenol. Not asprin.

  12. im a dancer, and my muscles and back are always hurting,, try using a535 rub, u can get it at ur drug store and it just heats up ur back, and makes it feel better. hope this helps! =)
