During gymnastics practice both my ankles and wrists get sore, but I don't want to wrap both my ankles and wrists. Motrin doesn't work either. What should I do???

  1. Well, gymnastics is pretty hard on ankles and writsts, considering all that's involved. They will hurt, no matter who you are. If you are new to the sport, they probably just need to get used to all the activities...kinda how your muscles will be pulled if you haven't worked out for a while. I would take advil, which helped me when I was figure skating. I think taking a warm bath and just soaking would help relieve pain as well. Also, sometimes just rubbing the sore spots help. If it gets too bad, I'd ask your doctor. I hope this helps and I hope you feel better!
