Sore muscles after football practice?

Okay, so today 2-a-days started, and our school does 2 sessions of 4 hours each, and BOY am I sore.

Anyone know any remedies that can relieve some sore muscles? And whether or not that remedy relieves a lot of the soreness or just a little.

I heard something about sprinters dipping their feet in cold and hot water to relieve the soreness, or something about football players taking hot and cold baths after practices; can someone elaborate on that?

  1. branch chain amino acids help muscles to recover faster.

don't listen to jaws, BCAA aren't fake and they have nothing to do with steriod. they are in meats, eggs, and many other sources of protein.

  2. Glutamine helps recover muscle, also drink a lot of water and stretch to get rid of toxins and help recover faster

  3. Bananas for the potassium. (so you don't cramp up)

Protein is also very important right now, get as much as you can. Your muscles are growing and you need this for that to happen right.

Ibuprofen for the soar muscles. Water for hydration.

Stay away from the amino's and fake stuff. That is one step away from steriods. You need natural nutrition.

And make sure you take a good multi- vitamin every day. And get 9 to 10 hours of sleep every night.

  4. ice only   hot doesnt help
