  1. Take a day off...one per week is good for you

  2. it is always good to take at least one day off each week. Alternate hard and easy days, never do hard days in a row.

You muscles are sore because you actually damage the muscle cell with hard exercise, the muscle gets stronger when it repairs itself.

Once you are conditioned to running the soreness will not be a problem, but you should still have recovery days.

  3. If you are just beginning, it is best to alternate a day of running with a day of rest.If you've run the whole week and are sore, two days off would be good.

  4. Yes, you can continue to run. I'm a runner myself and I've noticed that sometimes the soreness heals faster when I continue running instead of resting for a few days. Anyways, make sure you take a day off each week.
