Sore muscles from volleyball help!!!!!!?

im 12 and i have volleyball practice mon.-fri 8:30-11:00 i have sore muscles but i dont have time rest cause i play almost every day any suggestions on any thing to sooth or not be so tense

  1. It does get rough when you start out, but soon enough your muscles will get used to the strain and work that they are getting.  I would suggest taking a nice hot bath, and just soaking your whole body for at least 20 min.  you need to relax while your in the tub too.  To take some of the pressure off your muscles, make sure you stretch ALOT!  Good Luck!


  2. increase your flexibility training with some yoga poses to get your body fully trained and take a hot bath with epsom salts.  icy-hot works really good, too.

  4. same here except it's 8:00-12:00. that's just part of life. i wish i could help you but I can't.

  5. That same thing happened to me i was soooo sore that i could barely even move but after a couple of days you get used to it and then your not sore anymore! just suck it up for the first 2 or 3 days and then after that youll be used to it and the pain should be all gone!

  6. stretch, serious stretch before practice and after practice, hot bath or jacussi at night, good sleep with icey-hot patch if necessary.

  7. hey just try to relax. when u come home ice down ur muscles and/or use a heating pad. it helps i know cuz that happened to me 2 yrs ago,

  8. keep moving...make sure you stretch!!!...you dont wanna pull something..motrin is always good and a hot shower or bath also work...you also need to make sure you get enough sleep...that will help alot

  9. try stretching after practice. also, since stretching a warm muscle is better, try stretching in or just after the shower.

  10. dude thats called life. the other week i had volleybal from 9:00-12:00 and 3:00-6:00. i was so sore. you have to suck it up. i would tell you to strectch but stretching IS NOT good for you even though others say it is. trust me! you should just drink a lot of water maybe take a bath.
