So i have vball tryouts, two a days, conditioning in the morning and tryouts at night, the tryouts arent hard but conditioning makes me real sore, today before and after all of it i streched and im still sore, i even took to advil before and after it. What can i do to take care of my soreness right now and prevent it from getting worse.

  1. Lots of things. Drink plenty of water. Water will help keep yoru muscles hydrated and prevent them from getting so sore. You can also go for creatine. This shouldnt make you buff since you are not working with weights. It should help heal your muscles though. Creatine coats your muscles with water helping futher aide the healing process. Eat protein. Protein will also help your muscles recover. Stretch well before and after practice. Take a warm bath to help ease swelling of the muscles. Also, go see a chiropractor (if you can). Have them hook you up to a interferingel unit and a stretch bed. These are ideas, there is no need to do all of these, just shooting some things out there that will definately help.  


  2. Take a bath in epsom salt and take an ibuprofen.
