Sore throat, earache, and swollen glands.?

Hi,

For the past two days I have had a sore throat but the weird thing is it only hurts on my right side and my right ear hurts. Also the glands under my jaw and by my ear are swollen and hurt =/. Also I get like this shooting pain by my ear like right under it. If I take tylenol I don't get the shooting pain but my throat still hurts. I am going to the doctor today. Has anyone else had this? thanks!

yes, mine turned out to be allergies. But, it could be alot of things. The doc. will be the best idea... you may need an antibiotic to kick it.. Hope you feel better. good luck

First I think you are doing the right thing by going  doctor as these could be a serious problem to mention some it could be that thyroid

is not working right so ask for full thyroid panel lab test.

The gland under your jaw is a lymph node and if its swollen it usually means you have an infection in the immediate area and since you ear hurts also it might be an ear infection.
