Sore throat and nothing is working!?

Ive tried the salt water thing, medicine, soup, theres no honey! and it hurts when i swallow and i just want to be able to eat and drink without it hurting! lol Thanks for any help :D

Hi there, you could have tonsillitis, strep throat, or a viral infection, but i can tell you, you have wasted your money on these over the counter medicenes as they really dont work.

Your best bet is to see how you feel in the morning if no better then speek to your G.P as you may need a course of antibiotics.

If you have had a sore throat for longer than 3 days or if the pain is getting worse call your doctor.  You might have Strep throat.

Try taking echinacea or burdock root. Since it is a kind of infection this should heal it soon. In the mean time, get Popsicles. This really helps get rid of the pain for a while (plus they're really good). So, get some good flavors and get better soon!

A lot of times when i have a sore throat it also involves my ears. I pour hydrogen peroxide in my ears and tilt my head to the side for a little while. I then do both sides then I gargle with something to improve my sore throat, like salt and warm water. After a while the problem goes away.

if its been going on for more than a week, go to a clinic/doctor. you might not want to and may think its silly but it can help in the long run, and hopefully its not strep throat!

if that takes for 3 days, u need to go to the doctor now. coz it might be tonsilitis and tonsilitis have a strong complicaton in your heart and kidney (im not sure of the kidney but the heart, ya i am) heart complicaion is the so called RHD or Rheumatic Heart Disease. so dont ignore that disease. i can give u antibiotic name but it would be better if ur doctor itself will prescribe it to u

take silver fusion or any silver ins colloidal form. it helped me that and drinking tea with lemon and honey.
