The water for the most part is fine if yyou like swimming in dirty water. The sand or rock depending on the beach to get the water is extermly hot this time of year. It usually burns the bottom of my feet.

Sorrento ,water is ok ,except when it rain......but I suggest Vico Equense and seiano that are nearby and easily reachable with the CIRCUMVESUVIANA. in less than 10 minutes
