I had the same problem earlier on. I just signed out and signed back in, problem solved. It does not seem to be confined to one specific area, it seems to be country wide. I live one the East Coast and I notice that people in Scotland and Wales are affected as well.lol

I think it may be because you are trying to sign into your account from yahoo.com. If you try signing in from the Uk and Ireland version of the website it may work.

I've just finished a rather painful Live Chat with support in the US and they eventually acknowledged a problem and the problem has been escalated to the Engineering Dept for a permanent fix.  They will email me when the issues have been fixed

I think Yahoo maybe having a problem with their server, i had it when i tried to sign in, i had to go the sign up route then entered my details, but it worked this time sigining in
