Sorry, another question on Palin?

Sarah Palin has kept Alaska's economy in check whilst the national economy is crumbling, ( Alaska has a $1.8 billion dollars surplus and is looking to pump that surplus up to 4.3$ billion ) She has taxed oil companies operating in Alaska, something no democrat can claim anywhere else in the nation, and has given the taxes that she collected from the oil companies, to the families across Alaska ( About 1200$ each )

So my question is, they say she is inexperienced on foreign affairs and national security, yet she is just a good economist as Mitt Romney or the eBay CEO, look what she did to Alaska.

So why does it even matter if she is inexperienced with foreign affairs, that is John McCain's biggest advantage, his weakest was the economy and that just got fixed up by Sarah Palin.

So why do they think her foriegn affairs experience matters?

Jack bauer if shes never left the country whats all that film footage they keep showing of her with the troops in kuwait? The same footage that shows her shooting and M-4 or M-16? Im pretty sure that qualifies as leaving the country. I didnt do that to pick on you personally but people really ought to do their research brfore they develope diarhea of the mouth. I think Palin is an excellent choice based on her record and beliefs.

She has lots of foreign affairs experience with the state of Alaska. Fishing, oil, different indigenous people. And Obama? He has none.

Good points,and even though I'm an Obama supporter,I'm impressed by her record,except for the lying about some firing, but it's the same reason people care about Obama's foreign affairs experience

Well,I'm admitting it. Obama has very little experience,and so does Sarah Palin. I guess we have to take a chance this election

I do find it funny that you're saying that her lack of experience in foreign affairs doesn't matter when people on your side have attacked Obama for the same thing

Becasue that is the only thing she lacks.. So they are jumping on it.. They fail to realize that Obama lacks everything so no matter what they argue Palin is more qualified to be prez than Obama is so their arguement doesn't hold water but they will try anyway..

Why does Palin's foreign affairs experience matter?  McCain is 72 and will be 76 by the end of his first term.  He has had several battles with cancer.  This woman could be president.

Very good question and very good point. McCain picked someone who could shore up his weakness, which is what he was SUPPOSED to do!!!! This is an excellent choice by McCain. The Obama camp must be pooping in their PJ's tonight!

This is 100% true. The main thing that every great American president(or vice president) has had is good judgment. The bad presidents(like the one in office right now) have fairly bad judgment. Now if there's one thing that Sarah Palin has, it's judgment. She has strict moral values. If we had had a president with such a clear sense of right and wrong for the past couple of presidential terms, America would not be in the hole that it is in now.

alaska has a small population with lots of oil revenue generated, smaller than dozens of US cities. God, you act like she's done something miraculous with Alaska's economy.  Get real.

I didn't think John had it in 'em. I am an awe of the man now. He shut down Obama's "historic snooze", I mean speech, shored up his only weakness, and just plain cut the poser off at the knees. Now I know he can handle the Russians and anyone else who messes with us. That old man is one tough, smart cookie.
