Okay, Im 18 and recently i had a huge bump under my skin on my vaginal area...It felt like it was the size of a grape and again it was under the skin so that made it a lot more odd and off...It hurt for about a week but soon stopped hurting but the lump was still there... I got the courage to pop it and...

gross part ....sorry....

like it exploded... It was like full of what seemed to be water and a little blood, which didnt flow it...it like erupted

  1. it very well could have been an ingrown hair, especially if you shave that area. however, another bump coming up could be where the discharge from the previous bump got back into the skin. call your obgyn's office and ask the nurse (they get weirder questions) if she sounds concerned see about seeing the obgyn. it could be simple, but you'd rather be safe than sorry. i know, it's a jaded phrase, but it is true.

  2. an ingrown hair can definitely cause a lump and can "erupt" some pretty nasty puss and junk even blood. sounds like that was the case.

  3. i,am not a girl, but maybe you had a boil.

  4. It could have been a number of things.

If it was the size of a grape, it could have been a cyst.

They are usually filled with air, fluids (which was your case), or semi-solid materials.

And if another one is appearing, don't wait for it to get bigger.

Stop it at the source and go get it checked out!

    It could be something serious.

  5. I've had this happen before, it's probably an ingrown hair. I panicked and it was really sore, but it popped one day on it's own when I wiped *I know I know tmi* but it went down to a small size then eventually went away. Just don't mess with it anymore or you can get it more infected.

  6. first and foremost that isn't a gross question.  Its a health question you have about your body, and its a good concern to have.

While I don't know exactly what the problem is, it definantly sounds like you need to see your doctor.

  7. Sounds to me like a really bad ingrown hair.

  8. Probably a cyst. next time use a hot compress to bring it to a head & reduce the pain. you might also try hot bath w/ epsom salts

  9. I salute each and every one of you for taking the time to care enough to answer a very personal question.  It is peeps like you that makes this world worth living.  For such efforts to provide an answer is a quality that is honest and respectable is a testiment to the heart that you carry.

  10. id say go to the doctor just to make sure that everything is ok i wouldnt want something to be wrong

  11. Your description of the area is vague - and female anatomy is very precise.  The v****a is an internal organ... so, was this bump on the mons, the labia majora or minora, the clitoris, at the introitus???  - can't really give any info or suggestions without a more precise location noted.

However, some of the options are ingrown hair and infection, Bartholin's cyst, some sort of Staph infection.  The force of the release of the fluid just means there was lots of tension and the squeeze you gave it added to the force.  Without gross pus, wouldn't think infection but without lab work on the fluid, who knows.  If you keep having these, try to determine the region they're in and if shaving some of your nether parts could be related or try using an antibacterial soap for a while to see if this stops them.  If not, see a doctor the next time you get one.

  12. Ingrown hair, pimple or an STD.

Don't pop it go to the doctor.

  13. i've heard that from a friend of mine, that's happens when your barthelan glands get infected, you totally need to go to the doctor.
