  1. The moderators of the Group may have decided to disallow members  to add files.

  2. when you click on file- to the right it will say

'Add File | Create Text File | Create Folder'  click on create text file, it will have these dollowing options of when to send:

    Upon pending membership

    Upon joining group

    Upon leaving group

    On rejected membership

    Upon being banned from group

    Every 2 weeks

    Every month

type in the File Content field your text- click create file at bottom page.

keep in mind, sent monthly and every 2 weeks, those will not go out right away but on Yahoo's cycle

  3. Sign in to your group and click on Files.

On upper right side, click on Create File.

Enter the name of file and description of it in the appropriate blank spaces.

Click Browse and your computer, locate the scanned document and double click on the document title.

That will take you back to where you were creating the file.

Under the "Auto-send to members" area, do NOT select any of the options.

When finished, click "Upload File" located on lower right side of page.

You can now go to your Files area and find your newly created file by looking for that specific one. Click on it to pull it up and view it. It can be edited by you at any time.

You can post a regular message to the group to let them know about this new file and tell them the file name to look for.

Also on home page right above the messages and you will see "1 New File". Any member can click on that and it will take them to the Files area.
