1. Check out USDA Pyramid. I just did and it's amazing everything they can tell you to eat healthy and lose weight. Good luck.

  2. You could try to take up running. Running and counting calories: this is how I lose weight. Start out slow if you're not a runner. I started out running around the block, now I run 3 mile routes regularly. Keep it up, but take breaks when you need to. It takes time, but it works. Just make sure you're drinking enough water and eating your fruits and veggies and of course carbs. Cut out junk food.

    Good luck!

  3. Seventeen has really good (and fun) exercises that take about fifteen minutes every time you do them and you get good results.

click on that then you'll see my question and my question awnsers your's meaning "do what i do"

  5. There are two things you can do to lose 10 lbs. One involves diet. The other involves exercise. I'll try to keep it brief and easy to follow:

    1. You don't have to carb count, but make a simple switch to low-glycemic index carbs and eat smaller portions of carbs.

Look up "glycemic index" and "glycemic load" on wikipedia or google the phrases to learn more. Here's the "down and dirty" of it though: one reason people gain weight is because simple-carbohydrates causes a person to release insulin. Insulin is a transport mechanism that send nutrients to your fat cells to be stored for later use. Complex-carbohydrates (i.e. low glycemic index carbs) do not create this insulin spike, so you don't really have the whole fat-storage thing. Simple-carbohydrates include things like white bread, pasta, white rice, and anything with sugar in it. Complex-carbohydrates include whole grains and most veggies.

So, instead of white bread, eat sprouted wheat bread. Instead of white rice, eat brown rice. Instead of pasta, eat whole wheat pasta. Do NOT eat fast food of any kind (make a peanut butter sandwich on sprouted or cracked wheat bread instead).

Here are some other things to go along with this simple dietary switch:

--Drink a gallon of water a day (since water helps your body metabolize fat).

--Get enough rest and go to bed/wake up at the same time each day. Uneven sleeping paterns wreak havoc on your metabolism.

--Do not eat anything 4 hour before you go to bed.

--If you believe in dietary supplements, go to Target and buy some Biotin, Chromium Picolinate, and Alpha-Lipoic-Acid. These three supplements help with the metabolism of fat and help maintain insulin levels (and they are all naturally occuring in your body; they are not stimulants or anything--they're the same as taking a Vitamin C tablet)

    2. Do an aerobic exercise for 30 to 60 min. every day BEFORE you eat anything.

This can be anything. I think jumping rope is the BEST, Swimming is probably just as good if not better than jump rope. But jogging around the block is also very good. Whatever you do, though, make sure to do it FIRST THING IN THE MORNING ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. This way, the calories you burn are coming from your body. If you do this aerobic exercise after breakfast, you're burning the calories in the food, not the ones in your "love handles" ;-)

  6. do situps every night and some cardio exercises.

lift some weights, go running, dont eat as much
