Can you please tell me the the names of everyone playing in belmar on sunday?

and also, from my last question - the first responder said something about there being multiple courts? Do you get your seats and have to stay in the same general area most of the day, or do you change your seats according to who you want to watch whenever?

  1. You can go to whatever court you want to as long as seating is available. So if you want to watch a top seed play in the main court you better get there a little early to get good seats.

Go to AVP.com and check out the schedule and see if they have a players list. This changes frequently due to injuries so no guarantees on who is there each weekend.

  2. There are multiple courts that you can walk around and watch. They look like regular beach courts but they are lined with sponsor ads and are within the netting of the AVP event.

You do not get seats with the tickets, you get access to the event. That means you can watch one match in the main court on the sun side, then the next match, move to the beach side of the main court, then you can walk over to Court 4 and see some top players make some other players look average. The only thing you can't do is sit to the side of the main court (unless you pay more). You can sit up to the sponsor banners on the other courts.

The main event (Championships) happen on the main court anywhere from 4 to 7 pm on Sunday night. These will be televised and the main court will be packed so you may want to just sit in the same spot as you would for the semi-final because you can't really leave your seat or it will be taken.

I can tell from your questions that you've never been to an event and I 'm actually really excited for you. Have fun.

Oh and Steve and Maria are right about the schedule,. Sometimes you'll have a few players that take the weekend off to heal a nagging injury instead of taking the trip to the east coast stops. But since the Olympics are this year, I don't think many teams will forgo the practice. However, they will be careful and drop out if they have a small injury, thinking about being able to go in Beijing. Check avp.com.
