Sorry i dont know technical terms. i have made cd (using windows movie maker) of home video. but it works?

only on computers . how to make cd/dvd that can work on dvd player.

  1. a DVD authoring application wud be needed to produce a DVD...  normally, windows DVD comes bundled with Vista. or other authoring apps .. Nero or free DvD Flick

  3. i think is that window movie maker in windows XP does not create DVDs to watch in standard DVD devices, only on vista you will find that option.

    if you are running xp and you want to create DVD of your home videos I recommend you to get NERO movie maker, which is an excellent and easy to use software to create normal DVDs.

    Any software that allows you to create standard DVDs will do the trick. but the one mentioned before very easy to use.

    if running Vista something else you may want to try is see the options when you create a DVD using windows movie maker and check that there is an option to create DVD videos.
