hey

had my baby boy 4 weeks and 4 days ago............

its about the bleeding after birth............well its been like a light period pinkie/light red but for the past 12 days or so I've had ALOT of clear discharge and with some red blood mixed with it and its gooey when i wipe and they are not much blood on my pad just when i wipe i get that gooey clear discharge with some blood. is that normal?

could this be because i'm maybe ovulating???

CONGRATS! I am the proud Mama of a couple boys...Best Wishes! Also, what you are experiencing is healing! Yeah, sounds like everything is going well. You probly won't ovulate till next month and taking a predictor will not be effective due to pregnancy hormones. But to answer...YES...you sound completely normal!

It is normal, and could be associated with ovulation, but it is not likely yet since you are still experiencing bleeding from the birth. Ovulation wouldn't give you a discharge for 12 days at any rate. Toward the end of bleeding after birth, it is common for the last remnants to turn whitish before it stops completely. If you are worried you can always call the doctors office and at least speak to the nurse.  Congrats on the new baby!
