1. To make butterflies look so much prettier!!! =]

  2. to get rid of all of the other stupid tiny animals that have no purpose in life but to fly around and be squashed

  3. Around here you get "sy wurms", i believe its a silk worm. They lay eggs and when it hatches cute moths appear. They make funny purrr sund. Then you put some cardboard piece in their box and they spun the shape of the piece you put in.

They dont fly around. As kids everyone in school had about 100 silk worms. You just keep the piece as a bookmark, its a nice yellow color and fairly thickly spunIf you give it beetroot instead of blackcurrant leaves, it spun in a red color.. The moth dies after a week.

Otherwise moths are only there to burn to death if they see a glowing light!

  4. They are there as a play toy for my cat at night. She loves them!

  5. have no clue.

They always eat your clothes, and fly about in your bathroom.

  6. the points in the pencil

  7. to be thoroughly annoying. why?

  8. The best-known benefit of moths to human beings is probably the production of silk. In China, people have used a species of moths called Bombyx mori to produce silk for more than 4,000 years. To obtain the silk, workers unravel the moth's cocoon into a single, long thread. The thread is then combined with thread from other cocoons and woven into silk fabrics.

Moths are important in the pollination of certain flowers. Pollination occurs when a moth visits flowers to feed on nectar. Grains of pollen stick to the moth's body as it feeds and then rub off on other flowers the insect visits. Some flowers that bloom only at night depend on night-flying moths for pollination.

Moth caterpillars eat leaves and other plant parts. They cause extensive damage to crops and forests each year. Some species feed on woolen fabrics and other animal products. The caterpillars of a group of moths known as clothes moths may damage woolen garments.

Also some animals eat them too.
