Tomorrow, we are going to a water park with me and my sisblings (13, 6, 4, and 2). The twins (2 months) are staying home. My dad has been working a lot since the babies were born so he is having some "bonding time" home with them. Anyway, can we bring a 2 and 6 year old in a water park womens changing room? My mom refuses to let them (on the way home) sit in a wet bathing suit. But, we can't let them go into the mens changing room by themselves. Thanks for your asnwers.

  1. yes. they are not too old to go into a womens changing room. they might feel a little weird, but maybe you could bring them outside one you and them have finished changing while your mom and sister finish.

    hope this helps!!!

  2. yea i see it happen all the time. its not a big deal.

  3. There should be no problem .

  4. ofcourse you can! They are small enough to be taken in there without any rude people making comments about it. we have 2 daughters and my husband has taken both daughters in the mens room with him to change a diaper or let our oldest go potty when he takes them out by himself. He would never let our 1 yr old or our 4 yr old go into a restroom by themselves..too many risks.

    Yes it is fine

  5. Yes you can, I see young boys in the dressing room every time I take my daughters and none of us think anything of it. Just make sure they change behind the curtains LOL I make my girls do that as well.

  6. Yes that's fine. Also a lot of water parks have family changing rooms/bathrooms in order to help in situations like this. If they don't have one just bring them in the women's changing room. Have fun! :)

  7. Absolutely-I have 3 and 4 year old boys and they go everywhere with me. You did the right thing by asking-you should never leave your (I am assuming) brothers unattended-you need to keep them with you or in your eyesight at all times!

  8. That is fine.  The park may even have a family restroom, which will offer a little more privacy.  But you should have no problems at all taking them into the ladies restroom.  I wouldn't let them go by themselves either, they are too young.

  9. No not the six year old, but the two year old for sure. Why not let them change in the car. You and your mom just stand infront of the windows so that the 6 six year old can change really fast and than your mom can change the 2 year old. And just keep the 4 year old away so that she doesn't start asking questions. As for when you and your mom change one of you go in change while the other stays with the younger kids and than ya'll switch!

  10. oh yeah my mom would take her daycare and do it just let the people in there know and ask when u get there and sometimes if it is a big park they will have ones for familys that have females and males so just ask or call and see first.

  11. no that is pretty sick they should go in the right bathroom thats the rules

  12. At that age it's fine... just try to make it 'quick' while you're in there.  It may make a few of the women uncomfortable - they obviously don't have kids or have enough help that they don't have to worry about stuff like that.  Speaking as a single mother for many years, it's not always that simple.  You're keeping your kids safe & your own mind at ease... nobody else's business.

    Have fun!
