Sorry to bug everyone agian but i need some more help?

my rat still hasnt had her babys.but she looks pregnant.dose this mean shes not going to have them

She have them when she looks like shes swallowed a whole tennis ball!! If she takes too long take her to the vets it could get serious for her health

Its really just a waiting game.  Did you work out the dates?  I know when my rats are due to have babies i wait in anticipation and check them all the time but occasionally they take a little longer than the average gestation period.  She may have only got pregnant just before you took the males out.  She may not be pregnant, but if she looks like she is then she probrably is.  When she stands on her back legs does her bellie bulge more than usual? Has she been making a nest yet?  Does she resemble the shape of a pear?  Is she busy rearranging her house and pushing her bedding around her sleeping quarters?  Eating more?  I've never heard of an ultrasound on a rat but ring your vet if you want to know for sure, he might be able to help you.  If not just wait, no doubt you'll chesck her one morning and little baby squeeks will fill your ears and you'll be a new rattie mum!
