Sorry to go on about the weather but do you live near Ascot and is the racecourse likely to be flooded??

My other half is going tomorrow and is moaning!!! Does not know what to wear (thought that was my problem) Also any tips for a poor punter!

  1. I watched the races on TV all day today and they didn't have any rain at all! They might have some showers over night but I doubt if it would be enough to flood. Try looking at a UK weather site, just type in weather  UK into a search engine


  2. I live about 10 miles away and we only had a few drops of rain, although my daughter - 7 miles (in opposite direction) had loads of rain - so I don't think this is an exact science, your other half needs to put layers on and shoes that will not ruin if the grass is very wet.

    Hope he/she has fun!
