Sorta freaking out here please help!

Question

About almost a month ago I started this birth control pill called loestrin 24 FE. Things have been going great and I havent have any complications... until yesterday. I was walking around with my mom and I started to feel alittle crampy, not enough to bug me but I noticed it there. I was confused because Im not due to start my period for atleast another week. But when I went to the bathroom I had spotted alittle and wen I went to wipe I had alittle bit of black discharge!? Im still a virgin if that helps. After a few minutes the spotting stopped but Im still alittle concerned about the discharge. And today when i went to go to the bathroom i had discharge again but very little and it was brown. I remember my doctor saying something about discharge before I started taking the pill but i forgot what she said and i cant remember if its a normal thing or something i should be concerned about. please help Im freaking out here! also it would be helpful to know the side effects of this pill if anyone else here is taking it? thanks

I think the best thing to do would be call your doc. Better safe than sorry!

yeah thats fine i was on that too....and you will get some discharge though taking it any way it doesnt matter if it is in the biginning or the middle or the end....and it is that color because it can make skip your period and then its just dead tissue in there its just past it due date, think of it as a old bannanna it goes from yellow to brown, well your period just goes from red to brownish blackish it isnt anything to worry about....and it coming a week early is nothing to worry about too its fine.

you will be fine it is just the pill making its self comfortable in your body and you may spot for a while and have really weird things happen but its just the pill reacting and good job staying a virgin... keep it that way

it's just your body adjusting to the medicine. give it another couple months and you'll be fine. hope you feel better soon.

while your body adjust to the pill you might have some discharge, and since its a week before your due to ahve your period, it will be alright.

It's okay. A lot of girls I'm sure has discharge it's just something we girls go through. And if you are concerned that much about it why don't you go talk to somebody that you can really trust.

Like your doctor,mom, older sister(if you have one), and maybe even a best friend that you can really trust.

Contact your doctor. You're much better off asking them than asking random people on the internet

I would say that you should talk to the doctor about it. It could be something simple as a side effect but it could also be something abnormal or a very uncommon side effect which usually needs to be reported. Please see a doctor or call him up. Best of luck.

Black discharge, Ive never heard of that, I have white discharge but thats because i have too much white blood cells i think you should go to the doctor

your body is still probably adjusting to the pill. its a big step to take. and your body may not even be fully ready for the pill..
