Soul Caliber IV Xbox 360?

Question

When trying to use the special with Yoda, i block until it flashes red then i hit "LB" and he just taunts the other player, (this is in story mode), what am i doing wrong please?

its the other way round ur oponment has to be on red u have to be glowing blue keep attack with ur enermy blocking u will see him break with a red flash then press LB
