i played the stories like 4 2 hours and got about 200,000 so that wasnt to bad i guess

Maybe try fighting some online battles?  That can get you alot pretty fast as long as you win them.

Complete story mode with every character. Not only do you unlock every weapon, but you make tons of money as well.

Play through the "Tower of Souls" level 60 repeatedly.  This will earn you 16,000 each time.

A good method for this level is to get Algol to knock himself out of the ring. This is easily done by retreating with your back against the edge of the ring, and letting Algol knock you down. Once on the ground roll back and forth, and Algol will attempt to jump attack you and instead jump over you and out of the ring.  

Yoda is another character that easily throws himself out of the ring.

If you haven't got to level 60 of the Tower of Souls yet, you will earn a good amount of money on your way there.  If you have trouble getting there, I suggest you repeatedly play through the Story Mode.
