Soul Fantasy seeking victory in the Coral Novice Stayers at Poole on 22nd March
The Coral Novice Stayers is to be held at Hove over 695 metres on Thursday, 22nd March. Taking part in the race tonight are Broadway Magic, Droopys Master, Springwood Chico, Airforce Peejay, Fabulous Banner and Soul Fantasy.
Soul Fantasy, Premier Fantasy’s three-year-old black daughter out of b***h Hall Of Shine, has been active ten times during the season and has won three out of the ten races she has been a part of.
She scored second in the first three races of the season, ranging the streak from 17th January to 31st January. She followed the winner, Rymacs Hawk, who was through the wire in 27.16 seconds and led the track by four lengths.
Soul Fantasy’s seasonal debut win was in a Grade A3 450 metres flat at Poole on 11th February. She clocked the track distance in 27.16 seconds and escaped defeat by a shoulder’s margin. Finishing as the runner up was Barton Tizzy and following
right in the tracks was the 5/4 favourite, Castlehill Nani.
Soul Fantasy yet again suffered defeat in the next two starts and then bagged on a 450 metres race on 11th February at Poole by reaching the other end of the wire in 27.16 seconds. Missing the race by a shoulder’s disadvantage, Barton Tizzy followed
in second right behind Soul Fantasy.
Soul Fantasy for a second time did not sustain the performance and fell back on scoring the next race that came her way. She finished fourth in a Grade S2 640 metres flat on 3rd March at Poole. The race was won by Kilo who managed the distance
in 39.31 seconds and only had a head’s distance advantage that kept the evening’s favourite, Droopys College, at bay from the wire.
Till yet last and the third win for Soul Fantasy was on 12th March in a 640 metres race at Poole which she got under her belt by completing the trip in 39.63 seconds and was in a serious contention with Share Club who was adrift by a head’s margin.
Eleventh race into the season can give Soul Fantasy her fourth victory. She has edge only on this lineup otherwise Soul Fantasy needs to work on being consistent with her victories.
