Sould i wear a helment in the drive way when i am doing tricks on my skate board?

a kid  died down the road from me doing trixs in driveway  and had no helmit on  SO I SAY YES YOU DO

Yeah, people view it a little weird because they want to act big and bad, but eh, when there sitting in a wheelchair with a helmet on for the rest of their lives with there tongue hanging out of their mouths because they didn't have their helmet on for just skate sessions, they may view it a little differently...if they are responsive at all.  I don't mean to sound morbid, but my friend was acting stupid and started skitching a bus, and tapped his nose a bit and flew foward, he could have had brain damage, and a lot more, luckily he didn't because he wa slucky enough to put his arm infront of his head, and even with that he was unresponsive for a couple hours.

i think it depends what is in your driveway. if there is like quaterpipes and ramps i would wear one but other then that i wouldnt cause people would make fun of you. although if you new at skateboarding you should wear one

if your doing tricks on flat ground no not really but if ur grinding or using ramps and quarterpipes etc. sure

technically on 'private property' you don't have to, but you should anyways...

Do you know that 96% of head injuries resulting from bicycle accidents could have been prevented by the use of a helmet!??

I'm sure the numbers are about the same for skateboarding.
