Sound Problems with 32" Vizio HDTV

Question

My Vizio 32" HDTV makes a popping noise that is very annoying. This is not the LCD warming up noise but a cracking and popping noise. Sometimes the picture jumps when it is occurring.I have found that if I remove the leads from the cable box from the Component 1 input on the TV for 30 minutes or so, then put them back on, it will be better for a couple of days.Any suggestions on a permanent fix. Fed Up in TN
