Sound Recorder Question?

OK. So it only has a record length of 60 Seconds.

How can I make it longer?

  1. I was told that it you recorded 60 seconds of silence, and then loaded it and spliced it to itself, you could make a longer record.  You would then save it as a matrix, and then record over that blank record.

    I never tried it though.


  2. Record blank, no input, when the bar reaches the end click the "record" button again and let it run to the end again.  Keep doing that, each time you do the recording time will double.  When you get it up to the length you want, click on File and save with the name "Blank Wave"  

    From then on, every time you use Sound Recorder you click on "Edit" "insert file" and bring in the "Blank Wave" file and use it.  When you finish recording save your recording with a new name so you always keep the "Blank Wave" file empty for the next time you need it.
