Hey guys plz gimme some cheap n effective ways to reduce sound, i got drum kit n it makes lot of noise, n yeah guitar's too around adding noise.

for ex - foam stuffin on wall etc.

  1. Your most effective process is to build an insulated room inside of your room, without touching the existing walls, and two solid core doors, one opens inside the room, the other opens out.

    The least expensive option is to staple square egg crate dividers onto the walls and ceiling.

  2. You can cover the ceiling and walls with acoustical foam but it won't be cheap. Google acoustical foam.

  3. you can buy sound absorption blankets from an audio supply place like Makertek and they are pretty cheap,around $20 each,foam can be pretty expensive,there are all different types.....

       I would say for a cheap fix,use any blankets or buy the absorption ones and hang them on the walls,it will help....also you can build a "baffle" and put it in front of the drum kit...that's basically a small movable wall with soundproofing on each side...do a yahoo search for studio soundproofing for ideas
