i heard that when a sound barriers is broken it creates this portal to another world like a black hole only that its as big as the thing that makes it. i also heard that it will suck up things only the size and smaller of the 'sound hole' anything bigger wont affect it. and just like a black hole it will destroy anything that enters it. the only difference b/w them is that the sound hole isnt as strong and cant suck up light or it can its just that wen it sucks up light the sun gives us more light so we realy dont notice it if not its just that the sound barrier is open for a very short period of time. i want to know if this is true plz help

  1. It is not even remotely true.

  2. In the right stuff, the test pilots talked about all sorts of crazy stuff that would happen when they broke the sound barrier.  Then Chuck Yeager did it, and it was no big deal.  So the answer to your question is no.

  3. not a chanche it is true. We have supersonic planes, and the earth survived it ;)

another example: when you see the waves back from a boat? They have that shape because the boat has a greater speed than superficial waves. Does the sea implode? Nope, luckily :)

  4. this could not happen,  under any imaginable circumstance...

  5. Think about this… black holes are formed when a stars gravity gets so strong it collapses into itself.  Do you really think one of our puny rockets could create such a thing?  It would take an extreme particle collision to create a black hole.  In order to do this the particles must be traveling at almost the speed of light.  The speed of light is 299,792,458 meters per second, while the speed of sound is around 343 meters per second.  Not even close.
