Sound producer??? HELP PLEASE?

Question

As a career, I want to put soundtracks to movies and television shows but I don't know how to get started..What should I do? I'm still in high school so I want to get a jump start so I know where to go..HELP PLEASE

Umm, I don't know all of the classes available at your school, but if there's Stagecraft, you might want to take it.  Stagecraft is about all the technical work and the behind-the-scenes work in theatre, and part of the class is Sound.

At my school, if you're a sound techie, you deal with the mics, any sound effects, any music before, during, and after the show.  You might want to talk to the drama teacher at your school.
