Sound system for jeep grand cherokee 5.9 limited?

my dad owns a jeep 5.9 limited from america and we had it shipped over 2 england when we moved back, his speakers have blown but no-one will touch them saying this is too complicated even specialists have turned it down or quoted a ridiculous price for the work. please help.

Since it's a limited edition jeep, you've probably got a factory amp in there as part of the infinity factory system.  I'd suggest rewiring the system and bypassing all factory wiring.  You could also get adapters to make things work depending on what all you're wanting to upgrade.   If it was my Jeep, I'd swap it all out for new gear and rewire the whole thing.  It's not as bad as you think.  It would probably take a couple hours to put a whole new system in there.
