  1. you probably need a special tool to remove the stock radio....

also, when you go to a speaker store or whatever, you need to buy a "remote", it will connect the stock wires from your stock radio, to the new wires ( or old ), and tht will make it possible to have stock radio and after market subs..

call a speaker store near you...or if you have a store called Best Buy around. Or circuit city prbably might have them.

  2. To add a amp & subs to a factory stereo without removing it you will need to access some speaker wires to send the signal to the amp. Some amps have "high level" inputs that allow you to connect spealker wires directly to the amp for signal.  Amps that only have RCA inputs will require you to  get a device called a line out converter. Line out converters hook to you speaker wires and convert to RCA outputs for the amp. Your amp requires a signal and three power wires: 12V+ wire from battery to amp, 12V+ "remote turn on " lead wire and groung wire. The 12V+ "turn on wire" needs to be hooked to any 12V+ source that turns on and off with the key. You can buy\use a fuse tap device on your fuse panel on your radio fuse slot to provide the amp a remote turn on power signal. You will need a fuse block, terminals and a few other small things so you may want to buy a complete amp wiring kit. Using speaker wires for signals is not the best way to send signal to a amp but it the only option if you do not want to remove or replace anything. It will sound good but it could be better.
