Question:

Sounds stupid coming from an adult, I learned an alphabet song when I was in K5 and I'm can't remember it all?

vowels were "blocks", for example, it started as Block A, Block A, A A A. And then consonants were something and then the letter made the sound. The only other one that I remember was G and that was "croaking frog, croaking frog, Guh, Guh, Guh"

Did anybody else learn this (or have kids doing this right now)? I know it sounds stupid but I was just trying to find it for when our son gets a little older to help him out with the alphabet.

  1. I learned this way in 1982 - WV.  I had forgotten many of them, but had been trying to remember as my 3 yr old is now learning HER letters.  Thanks for posting.

  2. I learned it that way in K 1979-1980 in NJ.  I have been looking for it for years, with no luck.  I remember it being on a bunch of records though.
