Sourav Ganguly fans delighted on Dada's return: Cricket News
The news of Sourav Ganguly's return to Indian Premier League has come as a welcome move for his fans who were earlier disappointed to see their star batsman not featuring in the tournament. Even his wife Dona expressed her happiness over the development.
Ganguly’s wife Dona stated, “We're very happy, because Sourav really wanted to play in the IPL. So when he was approached by the Sahara team, he happily said yes."
While talking to the media in Allahabad, Dona added, “It obviously hurts a lot, but then there are situations where you can't do much. Although he has taken retirement from international cricket, I would love to see him playing in league matches in the future.”
According to Dona, Ganguly is very happy and excited to return to cricket as part of IPL’s Pune Warriors. She added that Ganguly is also the Director of the franchise. However, his roles as a player and as director are two entirely different jobs. Dona is
