Sourav Ganguly insists on playing the next 4 to 5 editions of IPL
Former Indian skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sourav-Chandidas-Ganguly-c90746, has expressed his desire to participate in a few more editions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), claiming that he still has enough energy to play competitive cricket.
Ganguly led Kolkata http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Knight-c71599 Riders (KKR) in the first three edition of the lucrative Twenty20 league but went unsold in the ‘IPL-4 auctions’ in January 2011.
The Kolkata side, without Ganguly, performed reasonably well in the tournament but at the same time, they received a poor response from their home crowd and the absence of Kolkata’s superstar, Ganguly, was considered to be the prime reason behind such a
terrible response.

However, Ganguly failed to make a good impression with the bat as he managed to collect just 50 runs in four games in the season.

"I (would) like to play for some more years in IPL, may be after four or five years. I will think about other options," said Ganguly.
After making his debut in 1992, Ganguly served India in 113 Tests in which he scored 7212 runs at an average of 42.17.
Recalling the pleasant memories of his fantastic Test career, the classy left-hander shared, "My first Test at Lords was the best for creating overall impact on my career. God was kind and after that I was destined to play for many years. But in terms of
