  1. yes,..now he'll know how the opponents feel when they r playing in kolkata..

For xample in deccan chargers vs KKR match in kolkata,

Nobody appreciated Symonds(38 frm 38 balls) Innings but when Ganguly made 14 runs frm 30 balls the whole stadium stood up appreciating his perfomence..

now..imagine if u were in Symonds position..what will be ur reaction ?

  2. People have such short memories.

They did play badly. But for once Sourav himself stayed there for quite some time. Something has to be done to their batting.

We are sad. But cannot boo him like crowd does. He has done great things for the country. He should retire gracefully and not allow this. But, Sourav feels he has a lot left in him.

Monti, Commentators appreciated the fact that Eden Gardens cheered for cricket, and not just its local team. They cheered any good hit in matches we saw.

  3. It's true that KKR did miserably in their last match against Mumbai Indians, and not only did they loose, but my team just failed to put up a good fight. It's better to loose by fighting till the end than surrender so tamely like the way KKR did yesterday, and it hurts me the most. To tell you the truth, Sourav was never very popular in Mumbai, and the people of Mumbai know no one except Sachin. It isn't really suprising that they jeered at dada at the post match presentation, after him and his team performing so badly. At the same time, I feel that a senior player like Sourav doesn't deserve this treatment. Even I am criticizing him for being over confident, underestimating his opponent, and taking MI too casually. But there is a huge difference between criticizing a person, and ridiculing a person. I don't like the latter.

I won't say that it wouldn't matter to Sourav. Dada is a "terribly sensitive" person.(I've read in one of his interviews). I know how badly it would hurt him to see that his countrymen are now jeering the man they once used to cheer. As a true Sourav fan, I don't feel happy about it, but perhaps its good for him, because it would enable him to realize his shortcomings, and ignite that "fire" within him. But such an incident wouldn't have happened in his own home ground. Sourav is still a hero to most boys and girls of Calcutta.

  4. it doesnt matter to him he knows if his team wins the crowd will chear these people are politicians

  5. Good.

He is the worst cricketer ever hated by everyone..As a Pakistani i hate him a lot.

  6. I did  not see that bit. But it must be awful for him. What I admire about him is that he bounces back.

Mumbai crowd is not like Kolkata. They boo all "foreigners", L0L . This time it was their team that won. I felt bad for SRK's brave front. It seems he has gifts for them yesterday. So media got out from him!

Rahul Dravid commented after their match that it was the first time that the Indian crowd did not cheer for him. I do not remember where that match was in IPL.

Sincerely hope they bounce back for the next few matches.

  7. Arrey yaar that's cool.

Booing is not always bad.If the Mumbaikars did it for a small period of time for fun then no problem.

But if they were booing Saurav or any other kkr player throughout the match then that is dumb.

Good fans admire the good performance by the opposition players.Mumbaikars aren't very good fans.

But same for Kolkata fans. They never cheer for opposition players.Pin drop silence in the ground whenever an opposition bowler gets wicket.

  8. honestly speaking,i hate that sort of a thing....I feel it degrades the game and to see people doing that to their heroes, doesn't make me feel good.
