When is a dividend subject to income taxes?

  1. When its paid out of earnings and distributions of the corp.


  2. Regardless of how it's generated and where it comes from accounting wise...it's subject to income tax if it's designated a dividend...The only item(s) that are treated differently are Capital Gains and Return of Capital.  PEACE!
