South Africa ‘A’ beat Bangladesh ‘A’ by 56 runs
South Africa ‘A’ squared the five match ODI series against Bangladesh ‘A’ by winning the second unofficial match by 56 runs on the 21st of April, 2011 at Boland Park, Paarl.
Proteas ‘A’ Captain http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Vernon-Philander-c2753 gave an all round performance, scoring an unbeaten 23 runs and grabbing four wickets.

Rudolph and Dean Elgar got together and had a 63 run partnership for the third wicket before Elgar walked back after scoring 24 runs.
Farhaan Behardien joined Rudolph at the crease, crafting a marvellous partnership of 93 runs together.
Rudolph was unlucky to miss his century by 11 runs, he went back to the pavilion when the team total was 181 runs.
Behardien was the next batsman to go after gathering 66 runs.
The lower order batsmen registered nominal contributions as Philander and Heino Kuhn remained unbeaten on 23 and 25 respectively.
They managed to reach 285 runs at the loss of six wickets by the end of 50th over, a challenging total for Bangladesh ‘A’.

The eighth wicket fell at the total of 154 runs when Farhad Reza and Noor gave resistance to the South African ‘A’ attack. They shared a 59 run partnership when Farhad was declared leg before wicket off Elgar.
The last wicket added 16 runs before the whole team was bowled out at 229 runs in 48 overs while Noor remained unbeaten on 32 runs.
