On Friday, December 09, 2011 Cape Cobras won the final of the Franchise 1-Day Cup after beating Warriors by five wickets at Newlands, Cape Town, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757.

The demise of skipper Ingram, was a disaster for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Warriors-c861, as the batsman had given impressive performance throughout the tournament and to lose him in the final cheaply was a nightmare for the side.

With 33 runs on the board, it was time for Cobras to see the back of Smuts as the batsman fell in the 9th over after posting a knock of 11 runs.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Justin-Kreusch-c1751 and Prince then amassed 47 runs in the fourth-wicket partnership, as they tried to steer their side back in the game.
However, on the penultimate delivery of the 21st over, Kreusch was dismissed after clobbering 23 runs. At the time of his departure, the side had managed to post 80 runs on the board.
Things at this time, seemed well in the favour of Cape Cobras, who were dominating the match by grabbing wickets at random.

Prince clobbered 63 while Botha went after smashing 48 runs as their side managed to post 242 runs in 50 overs.
From Cape Cobras, Charl Langeveldt, was the most successful bowler by grabbing five wickets in the innings.
Needing a decent total to win the game, Cape Cobras batted splendidly and reached the required target of 243 runs in 48.3 overs for the loss of five wickets.
From Cobras, opener http://www.senore.com/Cricket/OA-Shah-c2134 clobbered 83 runs to help the side win the game.
CK Langeveldt was named as the Player of the Match for his superb bowling display.
