South Africa In complete control, India down under

India, a team which is the best when it comes to test cricket, is under immense pressure after an ecstatic overall display by South Africa in every department.  At the close of the second day South Africa are 366 with the loss of just two wickets. This is a
huge statement made by South Africa through their performance which has put India in the back seat.
The second day at Super Sport park, Centurion has been a stunning one for South Africa. There is nothing better than what they could have expected from this match so far. Jacques Kallis & Hashim Amla put up a great stand to give South Africa a commanding
position on the second day at Centurion.
South Africa won the toss and chose to field which made the critics skeptic but the bowling display by South Africas bowling attackers certainly raised the eyebrows of many. The pace attack of South Africa ruined the batting line up of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 as they were
booked at a total of just 136 runs. Certainly a nightmare. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Morne-Morkel-c77722 bowled tremendously, destroying the Indian batting line-up by grabbing a collective total of eight wickets. Morkel is sure to be the pick of the bowler's after taking a
five wicket haul.
It was never going to be an easy task for the Indian’s after being dismissed on such a low total but cricket is a game of unpredictability and anything can be expected. Their track record of performances away from home did certainly improve, but this one
so far has been below their average level of competence.  As if the first day of misery wasn’t enough for India, on the second day the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 openers added a 111 run stand to bring the Indian team more pain.
Alviro Petersen was a little shaky at the start of his innings but as soon as he faced a few deliveries he got into the groove. Graeme Smith had no problems batting as he played a smooth innings. Both the openers scored half centuries. Smith was the first
one to go for South Africa on the total of 111 runs. Peterson was dismissed when South Africa reached the 166 run mark.
South Africa hammered the Indian bowling attack throughout the park. Amla and Kallis have so far been the untouchables for the South Africa batting attack. They have put up a great partnership. Kallis with his blistering hits and Amla being a regular classic
wristy player who is a treat to watch.
Both these guns reached their centuries towards the finish of the second day at Centurion, giving India nothing at all to cheer about after being stamped out for the lowest ever Indian total in South Africa.
Will the Indians strike back? Will they produce something herculean or wish for some weather assistance?  Will the South Africa convert these performances to their victory? All these questions will be answered over the course of the game. After all, test
cricket is a game of nerves for the players to play and for the viewers to watch.
